During the Coronavirus pandemic we have all faced many different challenges. For schools it has not been possible for all pupils to receive on site learning all of the time and therefore schools have developed and delivered a blended approach of both remote and on site learning opportunities. During the pandemic there have been different stages and restrictions which has meant children, parents and teachers have needed to adjust to both local and national needs. The information provided through the links below will help children and parents to understand more about how the Witham Academy is approaching home learning and how we are providing support and practical information to help families adapt to the changes and requirements of this.
At the Witham Academy staff are always available to support children and parents in staying safe and learning, as well as any other needs they may have. Please do contact the school using the contact details provided or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01522 882900.
Home Learning Support
Mental and Physical Wellbeing
Our aim is to ensure our students are able to persevere and respond calmly and rationally when they encounter challenges and setbacks. The developing library of resources on this page is designed to support students to continue this development and ‘check in’ with their wellbeing on a regular basis. This page includes resources that will support students to look after their mental wellbeing whilst in lockdown.
