"Move more, learn more, achieve more." - unknown
A student of Physical Education develops the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. Through a wide range of individual and team-based activities, pupils build personal fitness, resilience, leadership, teamwork, and sporting skills. They are also given opportunities to represent and compete for the Academy in a variety of sporting contexts.
The intent of the Physical Education curriculum is to
- inspire all pupils to participate in sport and physical activity,
- develop lifelong health and fitness habits,
- provide the foundation for continued engagement in physical activity beyond school.
We aim to equip students with the confidence, knowledge, and motivation to remain active throughout their lives.
