Appeals

If your child has not been offered a place at The Priory Witham Academy, you have the right of appeal against that decision.

Appeals are heard by an independent panel. Their decision to uphold or reject the appeal will be binding on both the school and the appellant.

Timetable for hearing admission appeals	Closing date for receipt of your written appeal:	Your appeal will be heard by:
Students starting secondary school in September 2026	24 April 2026	40 school days after the deadline to appeal has past.
Change of school mid-year (application at any time other than the initial intake)	End of the academic year	30 school days after your appeal form is received.
