Who was Neil Armstrong?  What significant global event was he part of?  When did the first moon landing take place?  What would it be like to stand on the moon’s surface?  These are some of the questions that we will be answering in Year 2 as part of our study entitled “Foot prints from the past.”

In Science, we will be learning (skills)

  • describe the importance of humans of exercise, eating the right amounts of different types of food and hygiene.

  • To select equipment to perform practical tasks ie, cutting, sticking, joining and finishing.
  • To select different materials for a purpose.
