Coca Cola Visit

BTEC Business studies went on a visit to the Coca Cola site on Tuesday 7th June and 8th June 2016

Year 10 students went to the Coca Cola European Partners site in two groups on Tuesday and Wednesday at Wakefield and Junction 32 Outlet Shopping. They had a tour around the plant (size of 35 football pitches). They were briefed on the background into the Coca Cola European Partners history, how they create bottles and cans from scratch, and how they utilise the 4 P’s of marketing (Price, Place, Product and Promotion)

After that they had a tour around the manufacturing lines for both bottled and cans (fizzy drinks) and a tour around the approx. £33 million automated warehouse. 38 metres high with no people involved (unless required).

Later in the day they went on a shopping trip around Junction 32. Relation to brands and their importance.
